WHAT IS YOUR DRESS CODE?

Come as you are – no questions asked.

How Late Are You Open Today? How Early Do You Open Tomorrow?
Our current hours of operation are:

  • Monday-Thursday: 5pm-9pm
  • Friday: 5pm-9:30pm
  • Saturday: 5pm-9:30pm
  • Sunday: 5pm-9pm

Last seating for guests is 30 minutes before closing.

Are You Handicap Accessible?
Absolutely! We can accommodate almost any situation. We have tables inside and outside that can accommodate wheelchairs or any other piece of handicap equipment. When making a reservation, just let us know your needs and we will be ready when you arrive!

Is There Parking Available?
We do not offer onsite parking or valet service, but City of Asheville offers several parking garage options. Your may need to use the parking apps Park Mobile or Passport Parking at some of these locations.

I Want To Bring My Dog. Is That Ok?
Yes, we are a dog friendly restaurant in downtown Asheville! We have outdoor patio seating available for you and your pup, but please note that outdoor seating is based on availability. Four-legged people need service too! We will provide water and treats with your permission to your furry friend. Service Animals are allowed inside the restaurant.

Do You Take Reservations?
YES! The best way is to make a reservation online by visiting opentable.com or using the link on our front page.

For parties of 8 or more, please call the reservationist at (828) 470-7480.

Do You Have Vegetarian Or Vegan, Gluten Free Options?
Yes, we have vegan and gluten-free options, as well as options that accommodate both! We have a variety of dishes in order to best serve everyone. If you are making a reservation in advance, just let us know so we can note it on your table. Our servers are extremely knowledgeable and able to guide you to the best options on the menu. Whilst some items are ready to rock, others can have a simple modification.

Can You Accommodate Large Groups?
Yes! Please check out our group bookings page for more information.

Do You Have A Kids Menu?
We do not have a children’s menu, but we do have items on the menu that our team can advise you for the little ones. We do have highchairs and coloring sheets with crayons to keep them busy!

Can We Bring Our Own Cake?
Absolutely! We welcome you to bring a cake when celebrating a special event. We can even hold it for you in one of our coolers. Please note however, it will be a $5 per person charge.

Do You Offer Corkage / Bring My Own Wine?
As long as it is not on our wine list, you can bring your own wine. We allow up to a 750 ml bottle. There would be a $25 corkage fee. There may be a maximum depending on the group size.

Do You Offer To-Go Or Delivery Options/Catering?
All to-go orders should be made through DoorDash or Takeout Central. On their websites, you will find a limited menu to order from. Through Door Dash, you may choose the option to pick up your order instead of delivery. For catering options, email hello@ukiahrestaurant.com

Do You Have A Tasting Menu?
We do! We have two options to choose from. They can be found here.

What is HOTBOX?
So glad you asked! Hotbox is our seasonal smoked meat and sandwich concept attached to Ukiah. It's like our funky little sister. It's laid back, no reservations, counter service and outdoor seating only, so yes, puppy friendly. You can find more information here.


Group Booking Questions

How Do I Book An Event?
You can connect with us via the “Large Party Booking” tab on our website. All the information you need about a large party or a room buyout can be found there. Simply fill out the form on that page and the reservationist will get back to you as soon as possible.

May We Decorate For Our Event?
You may, however, please keep in mind that we serve family style/ small plates so tables can get a bit crowded once the food starts to arrive. Centrally located florals will need to be removed before the dining experience, as everything is served to the center of the table. We ask that you do not use confetti.

UKIAH provides, plates, flatware, napkins and glassware.


What Type Of Menu Options Do You Offer?
Private events at UKIAH feature your choice of one of the Chef-curated tasting menus. These can be found here.

What Types Of Bar Packages Do You Offer?
We have a carefully curated wine selection, along with craft cocktails, local/foreign beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.

If you want an inclusive dining package, we can offer a Beverage Pairing Menu at an additional $30 per person, plus tax and gratuity. This menu includes one of our core cocktails, a beer, a dessert cocktail, and of course, a sake. If you would just like to order your beverages a la carte or speak to a manager about pre-selecting Wine or Sake for the table, we will be happy to assist.

May We Play Our Own Music, Or Have Live Music?
The North Dining Room is tied into the main sound system. Microphones are also not permitted.

Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, please cancel your event more than two weeks in advance. Refunds of the deposit can take up to 2 weeks.
For a postponement, please postpone two weeks prior to original event date and we will move your deposit to the new postponement date.
